Delivery problems
Ordered clothing which was to be delivered19th July. Was given tracking details which showed Evri had received order on 17th July. Items did not arrive 19th. Checked tracking which miraculously had changed received order details to 18th July. Phoned M&S 20th July and they said would e-mail Evri to find out why the delay. I asked if they could phone them to be told they don't have a telephone number. Very poor service considering such a large company that is looking to increase clothing sales. Option given on telephone was to cancel order and get a refund !

Awful service
Awful service - ordered a couple of items for collection on Monday 19th - had email to say items were delayed and would be able to pick up Wednesday 20th - no further updates. After an age getting through to customer services was told by a very unhelpful advisor that the items had been returned to warehouse and one item now out of stock so unable to replace / reorder. Asked why I had received no update about this and the fact that items would not be delivered as promised I was advised that it only shows on their systems not on customer tracking!! Not impressed with M & S at all.

Terrible service when something goes…
Terrible service when something goes wrong. If you can get your money back, thank yourself lucky.
Used to be a trusted company and known for product and service excellence. However, that was a long time ago and we are seeing a slow demise. Won't be long before they have gone the same way as most uk high street retailers.
Use John ohn Lewis instead.

no delivery on scheduled date
I placed an online delivery (all items shown in stock) which I was told would be in store for collection on 18/7/22; it wasn't. Then I was told it would be available for collection 19/7; it wasn't. Then I was told it would be available for collection 20/7; it isn't.
I am leaving on a trip tomorrow at 9.00 am so delivery tomorrow (in the unlikely event that that happens) is of ABSOLUTELY NO USE TO ME. If I had realised that Marks & Spencer do not meet their own delivery commitments I would have shopped elsewhere. This is far too late to be an option to me now as I am currently at work until 8pm. So due to M&S's unreliability I will be leaving on my holiday short of several much-needed items. NOT HAPPY, AS YOU MAY WELL IMAGINE.

M & S Gift Card shambles.
Have an in date Gift Card with a balance left on. Tried to use online. Will not accept payment. When on chat, pin for the card is blocked, can only use in store? They are unable to unblock the pin! Requested that they issue an e-Gift card with the remaining balance, they cannot do this either! Called customer services, gave the details put on hold and bounced off after 8 mins. Tried to call again, system would not then recogise my spoken post code details. Absolute shambles. Have Gift Card that can only be used in store? Local stores do not have the stock of items that I require,, but that is beside the point I should be able to use my Gift Card online!!!!!

One month later and order not fulfilled…
Placed an order for over £200 one month ago and to date I have not received my full order. I contacted the executive office over a week ago and still my order has not been fulfilled.

Appalling service.

No suprise to see so many bad reviews on here.

Ordered a wardrobe on the 4th April 2022. Arrived damaged and returned. Replacement still not arrived.

Ordered several pieces of furniture on 1st June (Before the wardrobe fiasco I might add)with an initial delivery date of 5th August 2020 which I thought was acceptable.

M&S then contacted me on 20th July to say that, unfortunately the delivery had been put back until 13th September, with no explanation.

Spoke to Customer Service who explained that the whole order was being held because one item out of the order was stuck on a container. By all accounts this is acceptable because it's in the small print. The rest of the order is in stock and deliverable, by the way

I then asked them to cancel the missing item and deliver the rest on the original agreed date. Was told that if that happened they would have to arrange a new delivery slot, which would be 19th September.

They also believe it is acceptable to change delivery slots without consulting the customer or asking for consent to do so.

They are now taking the easy option and telling me to cancel the order if I am not happy, rather than actually trying to rectify the situation. What is the point of having Customer Service if they just give up at the first sign of actually having to resolve a situation.

Stick to underwear and over priced pre-cooked meals M&S, Leave the big boy stuff to Mr Lewis and his Partners.

Absolute jokers.

If the Director of M&S Home and Furniture would like to contact me directly for a chat I would be more than happy to express my frustrations to her.

I normally write positive reviews, but not this time.
I had a very bad experience with M&S 10 years ago, when birthday flowers I sent to a friend, whose husband was dying failed to arrive, stayed in a warehouse all weekend & were delivered wilted.
A few years later I decided to give M&S the benefit of the doubt & sent flowers to a friend, who had recently been bereaved. Flowers didn’t arrive again & were delivered after a WE in the warehouse. I was told this was a one off & not like their usual marvellous service.
Last week I was sending flowers to an ill friend for her birthday.
Very much against my better judgement, I decided to send flowers from M&S, as their bouquets looked rather tempting.
I place the order, for last Friday, on the previous Tuesday & chose the option of Friday delivery. On the day of delivery, I was kept well informed by tracking & felt very reassured, when it said the driver was one stop away. Unfortunately tracking says exactly the same today, 4 days later. I wasted a lot of time with e-mails & phone calls, trying to track the delivery, with promises of a resolution & the usual stuff about how wonderful M&S is.
My friend got a weird message on FB from someone, who said they had her flowers ….. a bit scary for an ill 76 year old.
M&S in the meanwhile contacted me saying they could not be responsible for mistakes by the courier, but I could have a refund or more flowers sent the next week.There was no gesture made to compensate for the ridiculous pantomime.
On the Saturday evening a courier arrived at my friend’s door with an opened box of flowers minus a gift card. The flowers may have been the ones I sent, but without a card we can’t be certain.
I informed M&S about this on Sunday & am still awaiting a reply. I have not been given a refund & nor has a new bouquet been sent. Tracking still says the driver is one stop away. I am a regular internet shopper & am impressed by the wonderful service most of the companies I use provide.
One thing I am certain about, is that never again will I shop online with M&S. They are an utter disgrace.

There was a problem with my delivery…
There was a problem with my delivery address and it appeared that my goods were going to my previous address. A very helpful and efficient lady sorted it .Thankyou Janay .

Called into queen Street branch Cardiff…
Called into queen Street branch Cardiff for advise on a bra.there were 3 staff members by the fitting room I quietly explained I'd had breat cancer and it was difficult to find what I needed I wear underwired padded for various reasons i was asked lots of questions and then told unfortunately you'll always have a problem look at our box bras. That was it..no advice no help not discreet. I turned around to leave and a queue behind me..I was annoyed at myself getting upset in public..an awful experience. Always shop there Always had wonderful help...but not now.

I used to go into the food section and buy a few items! The same items. I understand prices went up but very sneaky the amount they put up was way over logic. Therefor I am stopping . Some people don’t pay attention or don’t mind! I feel ripped off. So will stop!
Food quality is ok but everything else is old fashion or very poor. Shame I used to be a fan ! No more

Online ordering process for MacBook Pro Safari users not working
Had to call the 0333 number having gone through the online ordering process only to find there was no 'order now' icon, so there was no way to process it.

I raised my concerns about the website with Customer Services, she was not the least bit interested in resolving the online problem, all she said was 'We have not received any complaints about the website'.

Yes you have M&S, I have just raised one, does my complaint not count?

I can't believe this
I can't believe this . Items like fresh sandwiches don't get reduced ( use by today's date) till late afternoon. Meaning what don't get sold are binned. Sorry no it can't go to food banks as they close at 5pm spoken to the Telford food manager only to say its M&S policy. Even if they get something its money going into the company. Don't think the share holders be happy .
